A founding member of Kyra’s Child LLC, Julie is a multiple alumni of the University of Wyoming. Both of her parents were from Wyoming, and as soon as she was old enough, she moved to Laramie to attend the university. She has been married to Blaine McCallister since 1999, and raised a family with him.
After her husband’s 2012 accident resulting in disability, she changed her focus in life. In doing so she came across the serious need for there to be an investment in the people of the Laramie area. With so few resources available to anyone who had a dream, Kyra’s Child LLC was born. She runs two other full time businesses, as well as her JIC Nation Business. With a background that took her to the bottom of life’s desperations, to comfort after so much hard work, she is an endless resource of ideas, input, and support.
Julie’s store, where she sells coffee and candles, can be found here:

Kersten McCallister is expecting her first child Kenya Rose McCallister any day now! She is excited to earn some income from home, as many of you know working multiple jobs while pregnant is challenging! She plans on supporting and raising her daughter, and returning to school to purse her dream of being a Veterinarian some day. Since her daughter is due any day now, she is hoping to grow her JIC Nation business as quickly as she can!

I started making Jewelry when I was younger as a coping skill. Growing up in foster care left me with heavy baggage. I found a way to put my unhealthy feelings into something beautiful and artistic. I never really thought it was worth much just a coping skill, but after showing some pieces to a friend, I realized that I may be able to turn my hobby into another source of income.
I do this as something I love but also as a way to supplement my income as the sole provider in our home. I am using my lovely hobby to better our lives.
See examples of Kera’s work below:
Kera’s work regularly sells for around $40. If you are interested in purchasing a piece, contact her at firstname.lastname@example.org.
PLEASE REMEMBER THAT ALL SALES FROM KYRAS CHILD LLC SUPPORTED BUSINESSES GOES TO FUND OUR NEW DREAMERS. ANY PURCHASE NO MATTER HOW SMALL OR LARGE IS ALWAYS THE BEST WAY TO SUPPORT KYRAS CHILD LLC, THE DREAM OF OTHERS, AND NEEDS OF OTHERS.
My name is Rachel Christoph I am 22 years old and a recent graduate of Laramie County Community College with an Associates Degree in General Education. I have recently joined the Kyra’s Child team and look forward to new experiences! I have been teaching students with Special Needs for the past 3 years as well as coaching a high school Speech and Debate team for the last 4 years. After working with Special Needs, I truly enjoyed the versatility of American Sign Language and the different uses of it in the classroom. I have dabbled in some studies of ASL but I hope to someday be completely fluent and have the ability to maintain a conversation. I have a passion for coffee and coffee production and hope to someday own a coffee shop which will be primarily directed towards college students. In 2017 I will start my Bachelors Degree in Secondary English Education with a focus on International Baccalaureate Programs on my way to School Administration and one day (hopefully) a position on a School Board!
